Mike and Patty’s special day took place at Limoneira Ranch in Santa Paula, California. With Patty and Mike both having eight attendants, they had quite the fun wedding party. As it was a beautiful, sunny day, the couple had parasol umbrellas available for arriving guests. During the wedding, they had a special guest come up to perform a blanket ceremony. With this unique ritual, the couple had blue blankets placed around them. After a spiritual blessing, the individual blankets were shed and the couple was placed under a white blanket together. The blue blankets represent the elements of the couple’s individual past lives while the white blanket represents the couple’s dedication to filling their new lives with peace and happiness. This personal touch added to their ceremony was truly unforgettable. With charming chandeliers hung above their heads, the cocktail hour and reception was enjoyed by all. A s’mores station set up around a fire pit as well as the serving of late night snacks made for a enchanting evening.
